Who is the ‘Wilson’ in your life?

Those of you who have watched that classic movie – Cast Away, must have already started reminiscing those scenes from the movie by the mere mention of the name ‘Wilson’ and those who haven’t watched the movie yet, don’t expect me to explain it to you because it would be your loss if I do so! I know there is a third lot as well, those of you who has a father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, et al, named Wilson but I am sorry this post is not about your Wilson; if you’re still interested, you can read on!

So, coming back to the Million Dollar Question…OK, since we’re living in a post-recession era, lets reduce that to a more affordable Thousand Dollar Question which still remains – Who is the ‘Wilson’ in your life? You don’t have to answer that for me, you’ve to ask this question to yourself! Or do we really need a ‘Wilson’ in our life? I believe, we do and I have some solid reasons for that. Let me tell you – Why I need ‘Wilson’ in my life?

Have you ever been in such situations where you don’t need anyone to tell you that what’s right or wrong but just to listen or to relate with your pain or anguish or feelings? Do you ever ask questions of whose answers you don’t expect but still ask them anyway? Have you ever felt the need of someone on whom you can spew all your emotions and just expect a simple – “hmm…”

No, it’s not some punching dummy or Bobo Doll that I am alluding at neither I am encouraging you to buy a Wilson Volleyball, stuff it with some straw and start talking to him – No! Here Wilson is someone alive, someone whom you can return to whenever you need him/her in your life! Someone who is ready to listen to you! Someone whom you can trust every time! Someone who is ready to stick with you through thick and thin! Someone who won’t tell you that you’re wrong if you don’t need to know that!

So once again, do you know – Who is the Wilson in your life? S/he must be around, go look for him and tell him that how much you need him in your life and how much you adore him!

Ah...my Wilson!

Ah…my Wilson! Where were you?
